Trash Bot

A four-hour rapid prototype built from cardboard, ultrasonic sensors, motors, and an Arduino Uno. The solar panel actually works.

Trash Bot was built to answer a question: could I design, wire, and program a functional robot in four hours using only what was on hand? The answer was yes.

Two ultrasonic sensors serve as eyes, feeding distance data to an Arduino Uno that handles motor control and navigation. The chassis is cardboard — functional, not precious. The solar panel on top is real and operational.

The project is about the discipline of constraint: limited time, limited materials, a clear goal. Trash Bot exists because making a thing quickly and learning from it beats planning indefinitely.
