Knights of Isiah is a multitool built specifically for one person: our friend Isiah. Two classmates and I collaborated to design and build a device that combined four distinct capabilities into a single handheld form factor.

The feature set — RFID scanning, a virtual pet, infrared signal cloning, and a microphone-based frequency reader — was chosen to match Isiah's interests and daily contexts. The design problem was as much about knowing the user as it was about knowing the hardware.

Built around a Raspberry Pi 3, the project required integrating multiple hardware modules, writing drivers for each, and designing a unified interface that made four different tools feel like one coherent device.
