Oscilloscope

A custom VST programmed in FL Studio that converts stereo audio into XY data and plays it back on an oscilloscope as real-time vector graphics. Includes SVGs rendered as oscilloscope visuals.

This project started with a question: what if music could be drawn? I programmed a VST plugin in FL Studio that converts a song's stereo audio signal — left and right channels — directly into XY coordinates fed to an oscilloscope.

The result is a real-time visual output on the oscilloscope driven entirely by the audio data. The waveform becomes the image. I also pushed SVG files through the same process, converting vector graphics into XY data and displaying them on the scope as oscilloscope visuals.

The project sits at the intersection of audio engineering, programming, and analog hardware — using an oscilloscope not as a measurement tool but as a display medium.
